Delicious food, great service and wonderful atmosphere!
I love Annie Ru’s. It's my go-to place when I want southern cooking that’s close to home. I don’t mind the drive.
Best hidden gem in Duval. Food /service/ atmosphere was super pleasant that I stayed and ate my meal with my child. Will definitely be a regular and would love to give Annie Rue her flowers
Excellent service...the line was moving fast and the workers were friendly and helpful. The food was very good. I purchased the neckbones and they were seasoned to perfection We will definitely return.
Amazing home cooked food. Taste just like it was cooked in my family's kitchen. The fried fish was some of the best I've had in Duval. Mac n Cheese was great and greenbeans were flavorful. Peach cobbler delicious in so many ways. And the price was very affordable. Definitely eat there if you're on that side of town and if you're not it's worth the drive!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Annie Ru’s restaurant, and I can honestly say it was a truly special experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warmth and welcoming atmosphere that reminded me so much of my grandmother Carrie’s home in Alabama. The soul food was absolutely divine, bringing back cherished memories of family gatherings and home-cooked meals. Every bite was full of love, just like the dishes my grandmother used to make. The atmosphere was nothing short of heaven-sent, and it felt like a place where you could truly relax and enjoy your meal in peace. CJ, the owner's son, went above and beyond to make sure every customer felt at home. His humble and compassionate nature was evident in the way he checked on everyone, ensuring we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find a restaurant that exudes the kind of love and anointing that Annie Ru’s does—from the moment you step through the door, you can feel it. I will absolutely be returning again and again. May God continue to watch over you all and bless your beautiful business.
I don't know who's grandma is cooking in that kitchen, but please for the love of God, ADOPT ME!!! My lord I haven't had food that good since my grandma was alive, God rest her soul! Absolutely amazing
